Grateful!

I've just finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl, it's a good book and based on true events, told from the point of view of Mary Boleyn. Mary was forced to do a lot of things that she did not want to do, because back then you couldn't disobey your family, she was married at 13, taken from her husband at 14 and made King Henry's mistress, after a few years of that she was replaced by her rival sister Anne and was able to go back to her husband. Mary had conceived twice and had a daughter and a son, both belonging to the King, she was just starting to fall in love with her husband when he got the plague and died, she was forced to go back to the court and help her sister rise to the power of the queen, she was forced to betray Queen Katharine whom she loved and then had to step aside as her sister forcefully adopted her son and then became queen. It is a good book but it has a lot of sexual content in it, I didn't realize that it was an actual true story till the end of the book, it's basically about 'The Great Rise and Fall of Anne Boleyn' told from Mary's point of view! It made me realize how lucky I am to have a family who respects me, who wouldn't force me to do anything, and most of all to have a husband that i could marry because i love him, I'm grateful that he loves me and respects all of my decisions and he never disrespects me in any way! I'm so happy that woman actually have choices in this time of life and that we noticed as equal to the men!

I Got an Eagle...in Golf!!

So Tyson and I bought a Wii like a week ago, and it has been the most entertainment we have had in a long time!! Plus it gives you quite a work out! We were playing golf and I got an Eagle!! Tyson wasn't to happy about that, but I have to admit I haven't been doing very well since I got that eagle, maybe it's because Tyson doesn't like it when I win him at something, so he has gotten better!! We have spent more money on it then we probably should but it's tons of fun and it gives us something to do together for hours at a time!!

Yes, I'm a Nerd!!

Today is the day that we have been waiting for (we as in Brandie and I), waiting for like a year I might add! We are going to the Breaking Dawn party at Borders tonight around 8, where we will surely take part in the great debate: Edward VS Jacob! I am an Edward fan, and my personal opinion on the matter is this: If Bella chooses Edward BUT stays human
the book is ruined, if Bella chooses Jacob the book is definitely ruined, so basically the only thing that can happen is...Bella choosing Edward AND becoming a Vampire. I compare it to Harry Potter, if JK Rowling would have killed off Harry, Ron or Hermione she would lose all her fans, so if Stephanie Meyer chooses not to make Bella a Vampire or to be with Edward she will lose a lot of fans, and if this does happen I don't think I will continue to read The Host series!! I am very passionate about this if you haven't already figured out!!

I have also decided I'm not really that big of a fan of the Twilight series anymore, I started reading a series all The House of Night series (the first book is called Marked), which is also about Vampyre's (that's how they spell it in the book!) granted its not by an LDS author so there is some swearing in it that i don't appreciate and some other things but all in all I've decided it is definitely better the the Twilight series which is hard to believe I know but I've made my decision and I'm stickin to it!!

What are we gonna do?

So we decided to name her Zoey! And as of now we aren't to sure whether we are keeping her or not. Tyson thinks we could give her a better home if we give her away, and I agree but I don't want to give her to someone else because I love her. So by the end of today we are going to decide whether to keep her or not! This morning She woke up at 3:30 so I took her out to go potty and she went, as soon as she was done she ran back up the stairs and into the apartment, she started playing with her toys so I left her alone, then she came back into our room and climbed on top of Tyson's shoes (she has claimed them as her own) and went to sleep. When Tyson got up this morning he found that she had pooped right by our bedroom door, he was so mad, so as discipline she was locked in her cage on the balcony for like 15 minutes. Now today she is going to sit at my parents outside all by herself (well my parents dog Sadie will take care of her) so that she can learn to be away from us humans!! I really don't want to get rid of her, I think with a little patience and hard work she will be the best dog in the world!!

Our New Addition!

Yesterday I fell in love! As my mom and I were driving down the road we noticed there were puppies for sale at the Library, we decided to stop and play with them for awhile, that was probably not such a good idea because I fell in love with one and wanted to take her home, so I sent Ty a text and I was able to convince him to get one!! She is a purebred Lab and she was only $100 dollars, her dad is a show dog and her mom is an amazing hunter and fisher!! They were going to sale the puppies for $1000 dollars but they just weren't selling and they wanted to get rid of them! She is such a funny dog and she is very spoiled, she can't be alone at all or she starts whining and yelping! Tyson wasn't to sure of her at first but I think that she has grown on him!!

P.S. We haven't found a name for her but we really like Paige!
